I am getting a 12 week old shih tzu and I want to use a wire crate for training. Is it necessary to buy a plastic travel crate for the car as well?
I have a 2007 fiesta, but I can’t seem to find a dog crate that will fit in the boot without lowering the rear seats. The dog crate needs to at least fit my cocker spaniel and be about 30" length or more. The only ones I can find are just a tiny bit too deep for the length. I just adopted a 1 year and 3 month old border collie/Australian shepherd dog. I think the people who had him before me used the crate as punishment. What is the easiest way to fix this. I tried praising him and giving treats but he just spits the treat back at you.
