Does anyone know where I could get a good deal on a wire dog crate? (online or in the Pittsburgh area)?
I just adopted a dog, and she is still in the dog crate training stage. She is too tall for the one I bought but she needs a taller one and they are a little pricey. I wanted to know if there was anywhere I could get a deal on a crate to save a little money. Thanks

You could try local pet shelters.
You could try places like pet-smart or pet-co (whatever you have in you’re area)
Look on craigslist. That’s a website where people in you’re area post things they are selling.

Go to a store and you’ll pay twice as much especially at Petsmart or petco.
Try craigslist first. If you find one just make sure you bleach it before putting your dog in it. I have found several dog and bird cages this way.
One resource — not just for show people — is the Dogshowstuff yahoo group. One purpose of the group is to buy and sell "gently used" equipment. There are almost 8000 members, so there may be someone selling a used crate near you.
